November is a month to be thankful, and one of the things we are thankful for is our community of veterans! We serve numerous veterans and their families in the state of Nebraska and November 10th is Veteran’s Day, serving as an important reminder of the sacrifice our armed forces and their families provide our nation each and every day. Thank for you all you do. We appreciate you! Below are just a few of the amazing clients we are thankful to serve within our community.

NATIONAL CAREGIVER RECOGNITION MONTH

November is recognized as National Caregiver’s Month! If have a Caregiver at home or know a Caregiver who comes into a loved one’s home to help and provide companion care, say a BIG thank you to them for all they do! Caregivers are so important and impact lives in many meaningful ways. We are grateful.

How do you spend your time outside of work?
Outside of work: I’m with family. I love camping and kayaking.

Binge-watching the Paramount show Yellowstone.

If you could snap your fingers and become an expert in something, what would it be?
Snap my fingers and be an expert in diabetic care.

What’s one thing most people don’t know about you?
Something people don’t know about me: married in 4 months celebrating 37 years next month.

What do you do to turn things around when you’re having a bad day?
I listen to 80’s rock when I’m not having a good day.

Do you have a hidden talent?
I’m very fluent in diabetes management.

If you had to pick one age to be forever, which age would you choose?
I love my early 20’s.

Why did you choose Caring Friends?
