Caregiving is a journey filled with compassion, dedication, and challenges. To support the caregivers who give so much to others, Caring Friends is bringing the community together for the Caregiver Exchange—an evening focused on connection, shared experiences, expert guidance, and valuable resources.

This special event welcomes both family caregivers and professionals who support others. No matter where you are in your caregiving journey, you’ll have the opportunity to connect with others, hear inspiring stories, and learn about resources designed to make caregiving a little easier.
Caregiving can look different for everyone. Whether you are caring for a newborn, helping an aging loved one, supporting someone with unique needs, or providing care professionally, the Caregiver Exchange offers a place to find encouragement and practical support.
What You Can Expect
During the event, attendees will:
- Hear personal stories and experiences from caregivers and community members
- Gain insights from experts in the field
- Learn about programs and resources available to caregivers across Nebraska
- Connect with others who share similar experiences
The Caregiver Exchange is more than an event—it’s an opportunity to build a stronger caregiving community where people feel supported, informed, and connected.
Resources for Nebraska Caregivers
Through the Nebraska Resource & Referral System, caregivers can access information, support, and services available throughout the state. Attendees are encouraged to visit the resource system website to learn more about the event, submit questions in advance, and meet the panelists who will be part of the conversation.
Registration Information
Registration is required for both in-person and online attendance. Once registered, attendees will receive additional information about parking, accessibility, and participation details.
For those attending in person, light refreshments will be provided, including cookies, coffee, and water.
