At Caring Friends, in-home care is supported by a full team. While caregivers provide the hands-on support in the home, there are many people working behind the scenes to help make care reliable, organized, and responsive. Families may interact with different members of our team depending on the question, concern, or type of support needed.
As care begins and needs change over time, it’s natural to have questions about who to contact and what each person on the Caring Friends team does. Understanding the role of each team member can make communication easier and help families feel more confident knowing who is available to support them along the way.
Below is an overview of the team members you may interact with during your care journey and how each role helps support clients, families, and caregivers.
Caregivers
Caregivers are the heart of our services. They provide hands-on, non-medical support in the home based on each client’s needs and care plan.
Caregivers may assist with personal care, meal preparation, housekeeping, laundry, mobility support, companionship, errands, respite care, and daily routines. They also help clients feel safe, respected, and supported while remaining in the comfort of home.
Because caregivers spend meaningful time with clients, they may notice changes in mood, appetite, mobility, or routine. When concerns arise, they communicate with the appropriate team members so families and coordinators can stay informed.
Scheduling Team
Our Scheduling Team helps coordinate caregiver visits and daily care coverage. They work with client needs, caregiver availability, approved service hours, and schedule changes to help ensure visits are covered as consistently as possible.
Families may hear from the Scheduling Team about caregiver assignments, schedule updates, time changes, missed visits, replacement coverage, or changes in availability. This team is often one of the first contacts when a family has a question about when care is scheduled or who will be coming to the home.
Site Coordinator
The Site Coordinator is a key contact for clients, families, and caregivers in the communities we serve. Site Coordinators are the first person most of our clients meet to determine what needs our in-home care team can help with. They oversee local care services, support communication, address concerns, and make sure care expectations are understood.
Families may contact the Site Coordinator when care needs change, when they have questions about our in-home care services, or when they need help resolving a concern. Site Coordinators also support caregivers in the field and help ensure the care plan is being followed appropriately.
Director of Field Operations
The Director of Field Operations helps oversee the day-to-day delivery of care across service areas. This role supports Site Coordinators, caregivers, and scheduling to help services run smoothly.
Families may not work directly with the Director of Field Operations every day, but this role may become involved when a situation requires additional review, operational support, or coordination across multiple team members.
Administrative Assistant
The Administrative Assistant helps with client inquiries and supports office communication and day-to-day administrative needs. This role may help answer general questions, direct calls to the right team member, assist with paperwork, and support smooth communication between clients, families, caregivers, and office staff.
Families may connect with the Administrative Assistant when they are unsure who to contact, need general office assistance, or have paperwork-related questions.
Chief Financial Officer
The Chief Financial Officer, or CFO, oversees financial operations for the organization. This includes billing processes, financial planning, accounts receivable, payroll oversight, and financial reporting.
Families may connect with the finance or billing team for questions about invoices, payments, account balances, or service-related charges. The CFO helps ensure the financial side of care is managed responsibly and accurately.
Compliance Specialist
The Compliance Specialist helps ensure that services, documentation, employee requirements, and internal processes follow applicable rules, regulations, and company policies.
This role supports quality, accountability, and safety by helping monitor compliance-related expectations. Families may not interact with the Compliance Specialist often, but this position helps protect clients, caregivers, and the Caring Friends In-Home Care organization by supporting responsible care practices.
Community Relations Manager
Our Community Relations Managers help educate others about the services we provide. Our team explains non-medical home care services and how we compare and collaborate with other community services. We enjoy connecting with community members and referral partners. Reach out if you want to connect with us for an event or referral partnership!
Recruiting
Our Recruiter helps identify and onboard caregivers who are interested in serving clients in their homes. They support the hiring process by helping find candidates who are dependable, compassionate, and aligned with the needs of the clients we serve.
While families may not interact with recruiting directly, this role plays an important role in helping Caring Friends In-Home Care maintain a strong caregiver workforce.
Human Resources Team
Human Resources supports employees throughout their time with Caring Friends. This includes employee onboarding, workplace policies, training support, employee concerns, and staff-related questions.
For families, Human Resources may not be a regular point of contact, but this role supports the caregivers and team members who provide care. A strong HR process helps support professionalism, accountability, and consistency across the organization.
Chief Operating Officer
The Chief Operating Officer, or COO, helps oversee the daily operations of Caring Friends. This role supports service delivery, team coordination, process improvement, client experience, and operational planning.
The COO may become involved when a family has a higher-level service question, complex concern, or feedback about how care is being delivered. This role helps ensure that the organization continues improving and that teams have the support they need to serve clients well.
Chief Executive Officer
The Chief Executive Officer, or CEO, provides overall leadership and direction for Caring Friends In-Home Care. The CEO helps guide the mission, values, growth, and long-term vision of the organization. This role helps ensure that Caring Friends remains focused on compassionate care, responsible leadership, and service to the communities we support.
